It was FANTASTICWeather was a bit mizzly to start but it cleared up and we got sun and blue sky in the end. AND we didn't drown We took the 2 hour option with a guide, 14 euros each person included kayak, boy aid, paddle, trip by minibus towing the trailer of kayaks up river. Clementine was brilliant, soon picked it up. Think the funniest bit was when she got stuck on a log, oh and in a tree........ We both really enjoyed it so much so we've booked to go next Wednesday on our own without a guide (4 of us this time) and we're going to paddle up to the Mont and back. So, if anyone wants to join our next trip on Wed 3rd Aug starting @ 10am be in touch asap. Here's some pics First one is all of us........

Had a great day kayaking, it was supposed to be for 2 hours, but by the time we'd had cider & sandwich after, we were out for most of the day!! Next time we're going to take a picnic, thermos & champagne & put them in these really good waterproof boxes!
Notice Ali didn't put the pic on of me stuck in a tree, thanks Ali. We got very wet & realised after the kayak had actually got holes in??? But we didn't capsize, which was a miracle in my case. Looking forward to next week & another river adventure.

Looks like you had a lovely time but I wondered if you were wearing wetsuits? Maybe drysuits for next time so you don't get soggy bottoms. ;D
