And pasha, I'm surprised you posted this - you've lived in WI, been married to a black woman, what point are you trying to make?Hi Ian lol-- Why are you surprised I posted this?? I do find it incredible!!-- and I am not trying to make any point at all-- Just found it mmmm incredible and so petty and ----- And yes I have lived for many years in the Caribbean and my ex wife was not black hahah-- she was a mix 50/50--(Barbados and Scots) and my daughter lives with a brown skinned guy(and rastafarian hair to--great guy) born in London whose parents are from Grenada, west Indies-- and my Granddaughter is a healthy mix and I love her to bits!! Got friends all over the world Ian-- all colours etc-- from fishermen to kitchen workers through to businessmen, top managers to a couple of ambassadors, and even the PM of Grenada was a good friend of mine too when I lived there-- Not got a problem with any colour --creed or religion as long as they do not shove them self or their beliefs into my face lol-- and its been an interesting topic of discussion today !! Now pop the kettle on and make a brew or pour me a glass of that chato collapso ya got there m8 lol

“Not got a problem with any colour --creed or religion as long as they do not shove them self or their beliefs into my face lol-- and its been an interesting topic of discussion today !! ” I have a problem with pink gay blokes that insist on going on gay pride parades etc, my best frog friend is that way inclined but you would never know it unless he told you, and that’s how it should be!

I'm no immigrant. I'm a Celt! I've come home Oh yes, and I'm a European. And an Earthling. My partner's ancestry is from all over the place. The only thing that upsets me is part of her is English! ;D

I can't vote Over There now but I always made darned sure I did when I was Over There! In Australia its illegal to Not Vote - maybe thats the answer? Round 'em up, force 'em into the booth to make their mark? There was a huge fuss a while ago about the lady who worked for BA at Heathrow - she was told she could'nt wear her crucifix around her neck in case it offended someone, even if it was under her blouse & not on show. Shame these rules never work both ways. How many folk might be offended by being lectured at by a black letterbox? Possibly as many who would take umbrage at a tiny silver crucifix. Its all PC lunacy, the country has gone mad. You can vote for 15 years after you have left the UK. Our 15 years is up but they still sent us the voting renewal form which we get every year! So we will see what happens next time there is an election. ;D

Well the buggers never sent me one! I'd know because my son still lives at our old address.
As to ancestry, we are all one big melting pot. I have Norman French Romany from my Dad, my mother's side have native american somehow - yet ME? I get burnt to a crisp out in the sun and I have blue eyes so I am not yer typical swarthy native! You just don't know. Ainsley Herriot was on Who Do You Think You Are some years ago - you should have seen the horror on his face when he discovered that his great great great(and some more) grandfather was a slave trader, and white to boot. Bob Marley had a scottish great great............ grandfather & has living relatives in Scotland even now.
Mind you - I have'nt got any -shock horror - Durham coal miners!!! What a dreadful revelation for the house of Windsor ;D
