Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control,I.E. my physiology, I will not be able to join in the chaos and mayhem this week.
My sincere apologies to BB who has probably burnt the midnight oil in preparing the questions
It should level the playing field a bit and give Ian a chance of a point or two
Ladbrokes are currently offering the following odds
10:1 the field bar none
Starter- BB Handicap- Fli Bar Steward- Stavvy Clerk of the course-Jeremy and son there will be plenty of also rans watch out for the equestrian brigade It's the first to the post will win CC will be well favoured if the going is hard

I'd like to join in one of these days but we always seem to be eating dinner at about that time. When it's real winter and we eat earlier I'll join in - if I'm still awake! (I'm up with the lark and collapsed on a heap on the sofa (complete with cat and blankie) in the evenings and often zzzzzzzzing well before 10pm) :-)

I'm sure the starter will let you off being absent this week. However, there will be a big stewards inquiry if you have a weight variation next week. The vet will be on hand to make sure you 'trot up' sound, and make sure your martingale isn't too tight. Take care old chap, and maybe J can 'pop' in and tell us you're alright?

Sorry, on re-reading this I think this is supposed to be a good luck with your op thread so all the best and hope you will be back home and feeling great in no time. (that's the closest I can find to a hug smiley).
